Hello Boils and ghouls!

So as march is coming to a close I would like to leave you with a quick couple of style points.

Ghouls:

1. LACE, LACE, LACE. There is nothing better than a girl in a black lace bodysuit. Yummy Yummy. If you really want to be edgy go ahead and wear it without a bra and a simple blazer over.

2. Without being a sleeze ball I'm going to just put it out there, less is more. No bra, No panties. But seriously... no bras. Wear a blazer with nothing underneath, distressed denim shorts or jeans.

Boils:

1. Ankle length pants are in. If you have an ankle length pair of trousers that would be even better. Pair these pants with a ripped up punk shirt and a black bowler and you have effortless coolness.

2. Leather biker jackets and studs. The more beat up the better. Want to look real tough? Pair tis jacket with a basic tucked in white tee and dark blue denim with boots and you got yourself a hot but modern kick-your-ass biker look.

We know this isn't super new; however, we would like to pay homage to an old look (part of which lends to its charm), that has crept its way back into our closets. You metal heads, witches, and punks have showed us a couple things. Nu goth, punk, and a little bit of I'll-kick-your-ass/cast-a -spell on you. We ourselves have been totally inspired and love what is going on. Lots of black and and upside down crosses. These kids are hailing satan from their BMW's and chain smoking their trust funds. Here are some friends, editorials, and models we'd like to say KKK we love your style, die the perfect death.....

Meet Laurel

Laurel is a business major at UNM. 5 foot 8 inches of pure haute gold. This girl will make you drool for one of two reasons. Either her charming looks or the funny shit that comes out of her mouth. For instance, she turned the word CANDIDATE to CAN. I. DATE YOU. Seriously funny shit; you had to be there. She listens to her music loud and has recently decided to start eating healthy. She loves our The color purple bodysuit and our 90's prom dress.

OUR FIRST TIME.

So... we are good friends with the guy who throws all of those FMLY events. You know sweet underground arts and culture events in the seediest parts of LA. They are a growing company and have spread from LA all the way to New York. Saturday at lunch we receive a phone call from the creator and founder of FMLY inviting us to come out and show our clothing and answer a few questions about future projects and different looks we would be offering. We quickly accepted and called our resident photographer Jenny to see if she was up to come and shoot us at our first event. As silly as this sounds, we were excited. A little to excited. There was a sense of light hearted joy in the air. No it wasn't from our usual 4 o' clock dry martinis, it was the fact that we were being noticed, by someone who likes our work. A couple drinks later and a couple outfit changes we were ready to die in our favorite clothes. The actual event was a caravan of bike riders. Music. Beer. It started in venice and these speed demons tore through the night from venue to venue only getting increasingly intoxicated as the night grew. We had our first. WE HAVE PICTURES!! I will put them up tomorrow.
